Byzantine Studies and DH

In Fall 2017 I was invited to develop a workshop on the intersection of Digital Humanities and Byzantine Studies for the Byzantine Studies Conference in Minneapolis in 2017. My article on the same topic was published in Peregrinations Journal:

McMichael, A.L. “The Byzantine Scholar’s Digital Portfolio,” in Brad Hostetler and Sarah Blick, eds., Peregrinations, vol. 6, no. 2 (Autumn 2017).

Here’s a synopsis of the event:

The Digital Humanities. Research, the Job Market, and Teaching

Panelists are Alice Lynn McMichael (Michigan State University), Nita Krevans (University of Minnesota), and Chris Raffensperger (Wittenberg University).
